How Our Network Works
Who you talk to
You talk to an independent local provider in the network. That is a business that pours concrete for a living. It is not Sorrytask Concrete, and it is not a staff member of ours. We route the request. The provider takes it from there.
Get ready before you talk
A few details help the conversation move faster. Take a few photos of the area, jot down rough measurements, and note anything in the way, such as trees, steps or a slope. Think about how you will use the space, too. A driveway for heavy trucks needs a different plan than a small garden patio.
What happens on the call
Expect a short, practical conversation. The provider will likely ask:
- What you want: a new driveway, a patio, or both
- The rough size and the surface you have now
- Where the property is
- Whether you want a plain or decorative finish, such as stamped concrete patios
Then comes a site visit or a measurement review. Pricing follows. You get a written quote.
What to ask an independent provider
Bring these questions. Good providers answer them plainly.
- Are you licensed or registered where required here?
- How deep will the base be, and how will water drain?
- What thickness and reinforcement do you plan to use?
- Where will you place control joints?
- Who handles permits, if any are needed?
- What is the schedule, and what could change it?
- What does the written quote include and leave out?
Typed answers beat verbal ones. Ask for them in the quote.
You are in control
You decide. You can compare quotes, ask for another provider, or stop at any point. There is no obligation to hire anyone you speak with. Do not sign until the scope, price and materials are in writing.
